Mission & Purpose of LEAM: To seek and save the lost, bring them to Jesus, help develop them to Christ-like maturity, equip them for their ministry in the church, and witnessing to the world for Jesus.
What We Believe
- The Sabbath: Belief that the fourth commandment remains binding, requiring rest and worship from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday.
- State of the Dead: Rejection of the immortal soul in favor of “soul sleep,” where the dead remain in an unconscious state until the resurrection at Christ’s return.
- Investigative Judgment: A unique belief that a final phase of judgment began in heaven in 1844, during which Christ examines the lives of all who have ever professed faith.
- The Great Controversy: The view that all of human history is an ongoing battle between Christ and Satan regarding God’s character and law.
